ABILITY Prosthetics and Orthotics offers a full line of Post-Surgery Breast Forms and bras. Tina Humphreys, CFm is honored to be the mastectomy fitter for ABILITY Prosthetics and Orthotics. A Post-Surgery Breast form is an external prosthesis that can be worn inside the pocket of a post-mastectomy bra. Breast forms are designed to resemble natural breast tissue and are usually made of silicone. Wearing a breast form will help you to restore the weight that's missing from your chest wall. A weighted breast form will restore your body's natural balance.

mastectomy-bra-fitting-300We also offer Post-Mastectomy Bras. Although not required, you may find it easier to wear a pocketed bra that was specially designed to hold the weight of the post-surgery breast form. While traditional bras can be worn, a post-mastectomy bra will offer the added security that you need.

ABILITY Prosthetics and Orthotics works closely with a variety of vendors, which allows our patients many options when choosing their Mastectomy products. Tina Humphreys, a certified Mastectomy Fitter, will work with you to determine which bra works best for you.

It's important to be fitted by a certified mastectomy fitter before you purchase your post-mastectomy bra. When choosing a bra, ABILITY Prosthetics and Orthotics wants to make sure you consider three important factors: comfort, confidence, and ease of wear.

ABILITY Prosthetics and Orthotics also offers the following products for our patients:
